● EMC Laboratory
High Voltage Switchgear and control equipment standard has listed Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) test as a controlled pilot of the type test. Accordingly, an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) laboratory in our center has been under construction.Completion is expected by the end of 2007,which can test equipment in its electromagnetic environment's ability to work normally without causing other equipment that allowed the electromagnetic environment harassment.
EMC standards laboratories, including 3M Semi-Anechoic Chamber and the necessary test chamber for electronic equipment on the launch of the space to the county or radiation interference (EMC. CE/RE) and the Immunity (EMC, CS/RS) measurement functions according to the corresponding standards.
● Back-to-back capacitive current test circuit
Back-to-back capacitive current test circuit is one of the items will soon be launched in SETC. In power systems, to improve the power factors of grid while reduce line losses, usually people choose substation with the concentrated load to install compensation capacitors, which can help increase the quality and economic efficiency of electricity supply. Power-factor level is closely related with the level of load power factor. In order to enable them maintain at a certain level, people have to keep changing the capacity of the capacitors.
Currently, circuit breakers are usually used to do the frequent switching for capacitors. However, the over-voltage and over-current generated by circuit breakers in the capacitive making and breaking current sometimes may bring capacitors and other electrical equipments serious problems. So it’s important for us to improve the properties of circuit breakers in the capacitive making and breaking current. |
